DBN Drache Boro Nitride

The DBN was developed by Drache and is produced internally in the manufacturing facilities of Drache itself. It is a coating used mainly in aluminum casting applications.

The coating is manufactured in modern equipment, ensuring excellent and consistent quality. It is available in three different types, which differ by boron nitride content.

The coating can be used directly or needs to be diluted before use, depending on the type.

Anti-wetting: Excellent anti-wetability and chemical resistance to all aluminum alloys.
Efficient separation: Even very thin DBN coating layers, with only 100 microns thick, have excellent efficiency.
variant: Available as DBN 25 I, DBN 15 I and DBN 10 I RTU
coloring: Each type can be provided in three different colors upon request. We use only organic and non-toxic dyes.
packing: Supplied in buckets of tinplate with a capacity of 6 kg each.

dbn 25i

Concentrated version with 25% boron nitride content. It should be diluted in water before use. DBN 25i is the most common version of DBN. Also available with custom antifreeze additive.
