Ceramic Filters of Al2O3 CeraPor® Ceralu® foam have been used successfully for more than three decades in continuous aluminum casting and continuous casting of aluminum alloys for filtration and cleaning of aluminum. They are available in two special variants. When selecting a filter, in addition to porosity, the flow of the metal, the total tonnage molten by filter, the cleaning of the metal before the filter, the preheating of the filter and its chemical composition must also be considered. Ceralu® filters are available in all standard porosities. In addition to standard sizes, Drache also offers the manufacture of custom filters, ensuring that the ideal drache filter is available for each casting process. We will be happy to advise you on the selection of the appropriate filter for your flows and casting tonnages, taking into account specific parameters of the process, such as the content of inclusions of the molten mass.

Joint: The seal is applied around the edges of the filter. It prevents contact between the filter and the filter seat and ensures that no metal passes through the filter. We offer two different types of joints:
